A boil water advisory has been issued for parts of San Diego County due to the presence of E. coli bacteria in the water supply. Residents must boil tap water for one minute then cool before consuming or using in cooking. An investigation is ongoing to determine the source and to determine how the contamination occurred. Affected areas must follow the advisory until the contaminants are clear and the situation has been deemed safe, as of now no issues have been reported.
