A marine, Staff Sergeant, Louis R. Espinosa, was charged for allegedly sexually assaulting a female subordinate on multiple occasions. He is also accused of dereliction of duty by striking or shoving the victim on numerous occasions. Espinosa will face a special court-martial trial and if convicted, could face reduction in rank, confinement, and a dishonorable discharge.
