A team of researchers have identified a new species of dinosaur that lived around 126 million years ago. It is a distant ancestor of T-rex and contemporary of other dinosaurs such as iguanodon. This new species is thought to be more primitive than T-rex, providing further insight into the evolution of dinosaurs.
