An Amish man in Davenpor, Iowa was trapped in a collapsed building for 16 hours with a leg amputated by rescuers in order to free him. After being rescued, he was taken to hospital to be treated and is currently in stable condition. His family reported that he is doing quite well, despite the traumatic experience.
