Arianespace has announced that the Ariane 6 launch vehicle’s inaugural flight has been delayed until 2024 due to continued challenges in the development process. The delay is due to engineers needing additional time to clear sustaining challenges and refine the rocket’s upper stage, as well as the availability of a launch site in French Guiana. This delay is a setback for Arianespace, which had originally targeted an inaugural flight for 2022.
