Arkansas Governor, Asa Hutchinson, criticized VivekRamaswamy for his race comments following the State of the Union address. During the address, Ramaswamy, a venture capitalist, claimed that Asian Americans were victims of race prejudice and faced tremendous discrimination. Governor Hutchinson argued that while racism does exist, comments such as Ramaswamy’s, which generalize the Asian American community, are not helpful and do not contribute to solving the problem.
