They are calling for the troopers involved to be fired and criminally prosecuted for their actions. Cobb’s lawyer believes excessive force was used and they are seeking further investigation. Mexico’s government has confirmed the discovery of a body near a mountain in Sonora state, close to the border with Arizona. The body is suspected to be that of Dr. José María Torres, who was kidnapped last month on a highway in Sonora. Investigations are underway to determine the exact cause of death.
