August was a beautiful month for stargazers in NYC as it ended with two special celestial events – the Rings of Saturn and a Super Blue Moon. The Rings of Saturn were visible to the naked eye as Jupiter, Saturn, and Mars aligned in one-third of a full circle. The Super Blue Moon was the second full moon of the month, and it looked slightly larger and brighter than a regular full moon.
