Chandrayaan-3, India’s upcoming lunar mission, has successfully navigated its first obstacle, a 100mm deep lunar crater. This rover is now undergoing further testing to ensure that it performs as expected before it launches in December 2020. Its main aims include gathering data on lunar topography, and mineralogy and understanding solar plasma flux.
