Post navigation Fishstock Antarctica, a non-profit organization, discovered a new species of animal that was found living on the Antarctic seafloor. This newly discovered species is called a feather star and resembles a bright red strawberry. It is thought to be related to the species of feather stars found in the warmer and shallower waters of New Zealand. This jawbone from an extinct human species was discovered in a cave in China, and estimated to be around 300,000 years old. It is believed to possibly belong to an unknown branch of hominins that lived in the region during this time, which has been lost to history. This finding is an important contribution to the early history of humankind in East Asia.
