Developed by the European Space Agency, Euclid is a mission intended to help us better understand the dark universe by observing distant galaxies. However, the project has been facing more delays as its “guidance and light sensor”, a critical part of the mission, experienced issues during commissioning. Further tests and calibrations have been conducted in order to get the mission back on track, but the set backs risk postponing Euclid’s launch date and the start of its mission to uncover the mysteries of the dark universe.
