Attorney General Merrick Garland announced the appointment of a special counsel to investigate any possible criminal or ethical violations committed by Hunter Biden during his time in various business endeavors. The special counsel will operate independently from Barr and his Justice Department and will investigate any illegal activities under the Biden administration. The announcement of the special counsel follows recent reports that Hunter Biden allegedly received millions of dollars from foreign governments.
