Post navigation The state of Vermont has experienced severe flooding which has been attributed to climate change. The flooding has caused extensive damage to homes, businesses, and public infrastructure. Climate change is causing above average temperatures and precipitation which leads to more frequent and intense flooding events. Russia and Ukraine have been in an ongoing conflict since the 2014 annexation of Crimea by Russia. Both sides routinely accuse each other of violating the 2015 Minsk Agreement, a ceasefire deal which is supposed to end the conflict. Recently, the U.S. and other countries have stepped in to condemn the escalation of hostilities in the region.
