Post navigation The US Department of Justice issued a protective order in the January 6 Capitol Riot case, due to President Trump’s involvement. The order is aimed to ensure the safety of all involved in the case, and prevent evidence from being disclosed too prematurely. The order also requires the parties to obtain approval from the court before revealing any information regarding the case. On March 18th 2021, a court in Germany ruled that the AfD, a nationalist far-right party, was partly of “unconstitutional” character. The Federal Constitutional Court found that certain sections of the party promoted hatred and discrimination based on gender, race, and religion. As a result, the state’s powers to monitor the party and their activities have been extended.
