Hawaii experienced extensive wildfires on Maui and several other islands during August of 2020. The largest of the wildfires was in Lahaina on Maui, where an emergency siren was used to inform citizens of the dangerous fire. Hundreds of firefighters worked to contain the fires, which damaged many homes and resulted in a state of emergency being declared.
