House Republicans have taken a stance to condemn President Biden’s announcement of an impeachment inquiry into the former president Trump for his part in the riot at the US Capitol on Jan. 6th. They believe the inquiry would be a fruitless exercise and accuse Biden of attempting to recompense for his loss in the election. They also doubt that Biden’s board would be a neutral party in the investigation. Republicans want the Democrats to take caution in the handling of an impeachment inquiry that could further divide Congress and America.
