It looks like India’s historic lunar lander mission “Chandrayaan-2”, which launched with the intention of becoming the first nation to explore the moon’s south pole, is no more. After weeks of searching for a signal, with no success, mission engineers are facing the fact that the project is lost. A combination of technical malfunctions is believed to have caused the spacecraft’s failure before its planned moon landing. Unfortunately, the Chandrayaan-2 mission has come to an end.
