They can provide information directly to the user via a heads-up display, and can be used in a variety of settings, from entertainment to medical diagnosis. Three of the most promising models on the market now are Google Glass, Epson’s Moverio BT-300, and Vuzix Blade, each offering unique capabilities. A 15-year-old teen in New York City has been charged with second-degree murder as a hate crime in the killing of a dancer in a housing project. The teen allegedly stabbed the victim repeatedly in the neck and arms, resulting in his death. The police believe the attack was based on the victim’s sexuality, due to homophobic slurs they say were made during the altercation.
