Japan is planning to launch a mission to the moon in 2023, in collaboration with researchers from India. The mission will send a rover to an area near the lunar south pole, to search for evidence of water and other substances. The robot shooter will have the ability to collect samples and could lay the groundwork for future human exploration of the moon.
