Joshua Tree National Park is expecting an influx of visitors this coming August for its annual Perseid Meteor Shower event. The night sky will become ablaze with shooting stars, bright enough to be seen from much of the western US. Motorists in the region should anticipate heavier than usual traffic beginning August 11th.
