Post navigation Bacterial cells use circadian clocks to monitor time and synchronize their biological activities. This study found that although the bacterial circadian clocks are relatively simple compared to more advanced clocks, the underlying mechanisms that govern the clocks are complex and involve intricate interactions between proteins and other regulatory molecules. This research may provide insights that can help to understand the complex systems in higher organisms better. The measure is intended to protect students from being indoctrinated politically or religiously and instead encourage courses that are focused on academic knowledge. Opponents of the bill argue that it will limit student choices and could have a negative impact on college acceptances.
