NASA has cleared the Europa Clipper spacecraft to launch next month to search for signs of life on Jupiter’s moon Europa. The mission, set to launch from Kennedy Space Center on October 10 aboard a SpaceX Falcon Heavy rocket, aims to collect data on Europa’s potential to support life. Scientists believe Europa may have a vast ocean beneath its icy surface, possibly containing more water than Earth’s oceans. This ocean, along with chemical compounds and energy forces, could create conditions suitable for life. Europa is one of Jupiter’s 95 confirmed moons.
