NASA has released new photos showing fiery eruptions on the volcanoes of Jupiter’s moon Io. The images were captured by the Juno spacecraft during its 17th flyby of the gas giant. These eruptions are caused by the intense gravitational pull of Jupiter, which creates tidal forces that heat up Io’s interior and cause volcanic activity.
