NASA is developing a lunar Gateway – an orbiting outpost around the moon aimed to support crewed and robotic exploration of the lunar surface. The lunar platform will provide a staging area for astronauts to visit and explore the moon’s surface, as well as creating a transit point for future missions to go deeper into the solar system. The Gateway will help scientists unlock the mysteries of the universe by providing an ideal environment to conduct research and exploration of the moon and beyond.
