Post navigation Russia and India are currently in a space race to be the first to land an rover on the lunar south pole.Both are taking unique, and vastly different, approaches to the mission. India has chosen to land its rover in the trough regions of the south pole, whereas Russia plans to land directly on the rim, making it to first to do so if successful. NASA will be hosting an event dedicated to discussing how global satellite temperature data can help inform climate-focused policy. They will be highlighting current climate strategies and how temperature information gathered from satellites is important for monitoring climate goals. The event will also feature guest speakers from NASA and partner organizations in the climate sciences field.
