On April 4th, 2021, the SpaceX Crew 7 mission took three astronauts to the ISS for a 6-month research mission. SpaceX was unable to successfully send additional supplies to the crew due to a technical issue with the Falcon 9 rocket. Instead, a Russian Progress-MS-18 spacecraft had to fill in and take food and fuel to the ISS.
