On August 24th, a plane carrying members of the Russian Wagner Group, affiliated with the Kremlin-connected businessman Yevgeny Prigozhin crashed in the central African Republic. The crash killed all but two of the members of the group, and much speculation on the mission of the group has arisen. The cause of the crash is currently unclear, but investigators are underway.
