On August 6th, the Women’s Soccer World Cup tournament between the US and Sweden was held in the Stade de La Prisme stadium. The US team held a 1-0 lead in the first half, however Sweden came out victorious with a 2-1 win. The game was determined by a late goal scored by Sweden in the 88th minute.
