Graphene ribbons have been discovered to exhibit new properties not seen in pure graphene. These molecules have been found to have strong potential for use in a variety of potential application such as quantum physics, electronics, and chemistry. These different properties suggest graphene ribbons can be used in a wider range of situations than pure graphene.
NASA’s two STEREO spacecraft have been orbiting the sun for 13 years and have provided us with a detailed view of our space environment. The two spacecraft act as a pair of eyes which are able to see solar storms, CMEs and other phenomena to monitor our space environment. This allows scientists and astronomers to better predict and prepare for dangerous space weather before it reaches Earth.
