Scientists have utilized the William Herschel Telescope in the Canary Islands to recreate color images from a camera built by astronomer Edwin Hubble in the 1930’s. With 3 different filters, astronomers are able to capture stunning images with three times the resolution that Hubble was able to use. Astronomers can now produce vivid images of star clusters, galaxies, and other celestial bodies.
