The Perseid Meteor shower will be visible in the night skies of Sacremento this August. It will be reaching its peak in the early morning hours of August 12th, with as many as 70 meteors per hour visible. Viewers are encouraged to find a dark spot to view it from, and it will be visible without the need for special equipment.
