The European Space Agency’s Euclid telescope, designed to study dark matter, has successfully restored its vision after being de-iced. The telescope’s infrared detectors were damaged by ice buildup during testing, but engineers were able to fix the issue and the telescope is now ready for its planned launch in 2022. Euclid is expected to provide valuable insights into the mysterious substance that makes up a large portion of the universe.
