The Federal Communications Commission (FCC) has issued a warning to political campaigns about the illegal use of robocalls in the upcoming New Hampshire and Texas primaries. The FCC has stated that any campaign found to be using robocalls without the recipient’s consent could face penalties of up to $10,000 per call. This warning comes after numerous complaints from voters about receiving unwanted and misleading robocalls during previous elections.
