The Indian Space Research Organisation (ISRO) recently announced that the Aditya L1 Mission, intended to study the sun, will be launched on September 2. This mission will involve a spacecraft, Aditya- L1, being positioned in an orbit around the sun of 1.5 million km above its surface. Its main goal is to study the solar corona and provide more insight into aspects of solar activities.
