Post navigation Wisconsin Governor Tony Evers has asked Attorney General Josh Kaul to investigate and prosecute anyone that attempts to masquerade as an elector in an effort to subvert the results of the 2020 election. Evers’ request came upon reports of scammers sending text messages misrepresenting themselves as members of the Electoral College looking for donations and payment to vote for President Trump. Evers is hoping that this prosecution will help to protect the integrity of Wisconsin’s electoral system and ultimately ensure that the citizens’ voices are heard in the 2020 Election. Meshawn Maddock, a Michigan Republican leader and vocal conspiracy theorist, attempted to submit fake, pro-Trump votes in the 2020 election. The fraud case was found in an Ingham County court hearing, where it was determined by Judge Wakefield that the certificates were void due to lack of voter signatures. Ultimately, Maddock’s ploy was overturned.
