The Marjory Stoneman Douglas High School in Parkland, Florida, was the site of a mass shooting in 2018. An alleged reenactment of the crime using live ammunition was then performed as part of a negligence lawsuit against the Broward Sheriff’s Office. Parents of victims were outraged that the victims’ trauma was used in this way tos sued for damages.
