The National Transportation Safety Board has released a report stating that the Boeing 737 Max 9 aircraft involved in the 2018 Lion Air crash was not properly tested before being delivered to the airline. The report also found that the pilots were not adequately trained on the new automated system that played a role in the crash. Boeing has since made changes to the aircraft and the Federal Aviation Administration has implemented new training requirements for pilots.
