The UK government has removed a group of migrants from a barge moored on the River Thames due to potential health risks posed from bacteria on the vessel. This decision comes after tests by the Environment Agency revealed a high level of e.coli on the barge which could pose a potential health hazard to those living on board. The migrants are being moved following a court order allowing local authorities to relocate them.
