The United Nations’s World Food Program has declared a “state of emergency” after fleeing war-torn Yemen. By 2020, more than 24 million people, three-quarters of the population, will face acute food insecurity and malnutrition due to the ongoing conflict and rising prices. With the help of Senators and agencies, a solution is being sought, but it must be done urgently in order to provide the necessary help to the Yemeni people.
