The XRISM (X-Ray Imaging and Spectroscopy Mission) will be launched by the Japanese Aerospace Exploration Agency in August 2023. This mission will study the universe in X-ray wavelengths, helping astronomers to better understand regions of nascent star formation, black holes, supernovae, and galaxy clusters. XRISM will launch on a refurbished H-IIA rocket from Tanegashima Space Center in Japan.
