Newsom called DeSantis’ counteroffer a “joke,” saying that it was vague and “without seriousness.” He urged DeSantis to “leave the talk show circuit behind and get to work on protecting the lives, safety and well-being of the people.” Donald Trump’s recent statement claiming that he and Mike Pence had a ‘great’ relationship was countered by aides that stated the two had a ‘rocky’ relationship. Despite conflicting evidence, Trump insists that he and Pence had a ‘great’ relationship and that allegations of disagreements, were just ‘fake news’. Trump claims the ‘truth lies in his own version’ of what happened.
