Voyager 2, the interplanetary spacecraft launched in 1977, is now 13 billion miles away from Earth and is still communicating with our planet after entering interstellar space. The spacecraft was only the second human-designed object to make it beyond the boundary of our solar system and is still sending back valuable information to researchers at NASA. The spacecraft’s communication with Earth has recently resumed after it was temporarily blocked by static created by our sun.
