The Minnesota Vikings and Carolina Panthers are set to face off in week four, with both teams having to contend with injury reports. The Panthers have ruled out tackle Daryl Williams and safety Juston Burris due to ankle and shoulder injuries respectively. For the Vikings, defensive end Danielle Hunter has returned to practice after missing the last few weeks with a neck injury but remains questionable for Week 4’s matchup. It looks like both teams will be relying on their depth to help make up for the losses due to injury.

The Commissioner of the American Athletic Conference stands firm on not changing the 12 team College Football Playoff format despite uncertainty in the West. He believes the decision to maintain the status quo is in the best interest of all conferences, despite possible inequities. He believes that continuing discussions should establish certain criteria in order to account for all conference’s needs and interests. Ultimately, he believes the current system is the best option for College Football.

Colin Kaepernick is getting a second chance in the NFL with an offer to join the New York Jets’ practice squad. Away from the gridiron, the rapper J. Cole recently released a letter in support of Kaepernick citing his enormous impact on the field and in off-the-field activism. With the Jets, Kaepernick will back up Trevor Siemian until their 2nd overall pick Zach Wilson is ready to start, and, potentially, Aaron Rodgers takes his place.It’s been a long-fought battle for Kaepernick to return to football and this could finally be the win we’ve all been waiting for.
