Carlo Acutis, an Italian teenager who documented Eucharistic miracles online and led a devout life, will be canonized, the Vatican announced. Acutis, who died at 15, was among 15 people approved for canonization. Alex Jones, CEO of the Christian prayer app Hallow, praised Acutis as an inspiration, highlighting his use of technology for faith. Cardinal Marcelo Semeraro noted Acutis’ charitable actions towards the poor and needy. Born in 1991, Acutis will be the first saint born between 1981 and 1996, earning him the nickname “God’s Influencer.”
