China and Russia began a joint naval exercise in southern China, days after NATO labeled Beijing a “decisive enabler” of the Ukraine war. The Chinese defense ministry stated the operation, unrelated to international situations, aims to showcase naval capabilities in addressing security threats. The drills, including anti-missile exercises, will last until mid-July. This follows NATO’s communiqué highlighting shared security concerns from Russia and China.
