SpaceX’s Crew-9 mission is set to launch on Sept. 26, carrying NASA’s Nick Hague and Russian cosmonaut Aleksandr Gorbunov to the ISS aboard the Crew Dragon capsule, Freedom. The duo arrived at Kennedy Space Center on Sept. 21 and will quarantine and rehearse mission procedures. Crew-9 will be SpaceX’s ninth long-duration mission to the ISS, typically carrying four astronauts, but this mission will return NASA’s Butch Wilmore and Suni Williams to Earth. Wilmore and Williams have been on the ISS since June, initially arriving via Boeing’s Starliner capsule.
