A UN assessment found that Ukraine’s largest children’s hospital likely took a direct hit from a Russian missile, despite Russia’s denials and claims that a Ukrainian anti-aircraft missile caused the blast. The attack damaged critical wards and led to the transfer of 600 children. Two adults were killed and 16 others, including seven children, were injured. The UN condemned the strikes, and NATO agreed to bolster Kyiv’s air defenses.
