After two dramatic countdown aborts, Firefly Aerospace’s Alpha rocket team ran out of time for a third liftoff attempt Monday night at Vandenberg Space Force Base. The rocket remains at Space Launch Complex-2, awaiting another chance for the “Noise of Summer” mission. Officials might try again Tuesday night. Despite efforts to recycle the countdown within a 30-minute window, the team had to stop the second attempt and began post-scrub procedures. A commentator noted, “You’d rather be on the ground wishing you were flying than flying wishing you were on the ground.”
