Astronaut Nick Hague and Cosmonaut Aleksandr Gorbunov launched aboard a SpaceX Dragon capsule from Cape Canaveral to the International Space Station (ISS) to relieve Crew-8 and prepare for the return of Starliner astronauts. The Dragon capsule, which arrived Sunday, has two empty seats reserved for Suni Williams and Butch Wilmore, who will return to Earth in February. The Crew-9 mission launch was mostly smooth, but SpaceX reported an issue with the Falcon 9 rocket, leading to a temporary suspension of Falcon 9 launches.
