Canada won’t see the October 2, 2024, annular solar eclipse directly, but it can be watched online. This “ring of fire” eclipse will be visible in the southern hemisphere, including parts of the South Pacific Ocean and South America. Timeanddate.com will livestream the event starting at 1:15 p.m. EDT, with views from Easter Island, southern Chile, and Argentina. Unlike the April 8 total eclipse, this one won’t pass over North America.
