SpaceX has delayed the Starlink 9-5 launch from Vandenberg Space Force Base to review data from the B1062 landing failure. This marks the first loss of a reusable Falcon 9 booster in over three years. During the Starlink 8-6 mission, booster B1062 exploded upon landing on the droneship ‘A Shortfall of Gravitas,’ ending a streak of 267 successful landings. Despite successfully deploying 21 Starlink satellites, the failure impacts SpaceX’s reusability model.
